My research investigates leadership and representation in the public sector. I seek to complement the leadership, representation, and diversity research with an emphasis on top management teams.

Gender Representation and Diversity

In this project, I explore the consequences of representation and diversity from three perspectives, including the government, citizens, and their relations.

Top Managers in the Public Sector

This is the core of my PhD project, in which I focus on strategic leadership in the public sector. Specifically, I review research on top managers in the public sector and examine the effect of executive succession and the causes of top management team diversity.
