Lecturer, Queen Mary University of London

Welcome! I am Ting, a lecturer in the School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London.

My research focuses on public management, leadership, gender diversity, and organizational learning (e.g., performance feedback). In one line of research, I focus on strategic leadership in public organizations. Specifically, I review research on top managers in public organizations, and examine the effect of executive succession and the causes of top management team diversity. In the second line of research, I explore the consequences of representative bureaucracy and diversity on social outcomes from three perspectives, including the government, citizens, and their relations.

My research has been published in leading journals in public management, including Public Administration Review, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, International Public Management Journal.
